KIMBERLY PHILO NAMED VICE PRESIDENT, MEDIA ADVERTISING & PROMOTION, CBS TELEVISION DISTRIBUTION

LOS ANGELES – August 17, 2009 – Kimberly Philo has been named Vice President, Media Advertising & Promotion, at CBS Television Distribution, it was announced today by Michael Mischler, Executive Vice President of Marketing, CTD.

In her new position, Philo is responsible for all media planning and strategy for the division’s 11 first-run shows and off-network product.

“With her years of experience in media planning and strong TV station sales background, Kim has the perfect blend of skills for this job,” Mischler said. “We’re excited to have her on our team.”

Philo joins CTD from Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, where she spent six years in media planning and advertising, most recently serving as VP Global Media since 2006. She also has a strong background on the stations side of the business, serving as Local Sales Manager at KCBS-TV, Los Angeles, from 1990 to 2000 and Local Sales Manager at KNBC-TV, Los Angeles, from 1985 to 1990.

Philo is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications.
