“JEOPARDY!” LAUNCHES PREMIER CLUB GIVING VIEWERS A CHANCE TO WIN UP TO $10,000
CULVER CITY, CA (October 28th, 2009) Starting this week, America’s Favorite Quiz Show® will begin rewarding viewers for doing something they love to do, watching and playing Jeopardy!. The Jeopardy! Premier Club will allow participants to have an interactive experience with the game every day and will host the show’s first-ever online tournament.
Fans of the show can sign up for a free membership to the Jeopardy! Premier Club by visiting www.jeopardy.com and clicking on the Premier Club icon.
Once registered, members should watch Jeopardy! weekdays and then visit www.jeopardy.com to identify the correct Final Jeopardy! category from that day’s show to begin winning Sony Rewards Points. Every week, Premier Club members have the option to win more points by playing a specially created game of Jeopardy! with all the “clues” coming from the previous week’s episodes. All players have the opportunity to advance through the online tournament and could win a grand prize of $5,000 and a trip to Los Angeles to attend a VIP taping of Jeopardy!. The cash prize is doubled to $10,000 if the winner is also an active Sony Card holder. Sony Rewards Points can also be redeemed for merchandise at any time.
