THE DOCTORS SPREAD HOLIDAY CHEER AT THE SHRINERS CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL IN LOS ANGELES

New York Times Best Selling Author Robin McGraw Joins The Doctors to Share Tips for a Safe and Healthy Holiday Season, December 18

During the holidays, research shows that giving is actually good for your health.  On Friday, December 18, The Doctors, with generous support from JCPenney, make a house call to deck the halls and deliver gifts to the young patients at Los Angeles Shriners Children’s Hospital, an international health care system dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty pediatric care for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate, with absolutely no financial obligation to patients or families.

Dr. Sears jubilantly assumes the role of Santa Claus to hand out gifts to the kids, assisted by Santa’s helpers, Dr. Travis, Dr. Lisa, and Dr. Drew.  A special gift is bestowed to the hospital -  4 computer stations which will be used by all the children who visit the hospital. The Doctors’ visit culminates in a sing-a-long of favorite holiday tunes, followed by private visits with some of the children being treated at the hospital.

On the December 18th episode, in addition to the special house call to the Los Angeles Shriners Children’s Hospital, The Doctors are joined by Robin McGraw to share tips for a safe and healthy holiday season.  Dr. Sears reveals surprising toy dangers, and all the hosts share their favorite gift ideas to help loved ones live a healthier life.  Also, when it comes to the holidays and food, The Doctors know that it’s easy to overindulge, so they provide the facts about which goodies are naughty or nice.
