ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT TEAMS WITH THE RED CROSS AS MORE HOLLYWOOD STARS COME FORWARD TO ENCOURAGE VIEWER SUPPORT IN HAITI

January 15, 2010 (Los Angeles, CA)-- ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT joined forces with The Red Cross yesterday and has received overwhelming responses as more of the Hollywood community lends its support to the devastating crisis in Haiti.

Celebrities speaking out to ET today include Alec Baldwin, Robert Kennedy, Jr., Rosie O'Donnell, Gerard Butler, Taraji P. Henson, Jane Seymour, Rachel Bilson, Pauley Perrette, Alfre Woodard, Maria Bello, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Jonah Hill, who encourages people to "give whatever you can" while O'Donnell reminds viewers, "even one dollar will serve a great purpose."

Yesterday, "House" star Olivia Wilde and Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon came to the ET set to plea for assistance for the stricken island. Garcelle told ET, "ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT and The Red Cross are household names. That those two can come together to help the victims of Haiti, that is tremendous and I am honored. People follow Hollywood and if they support Haiti, I think a lot of other people will to."

On partnering with ET, The Red Cross said, "ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT has been a tremendous partner in mobilizing the entertainment community following major domestic and international disasters,” said Julie Whitmer, Director Celebrity and Entertainment Outreach for the American Red Cross National Headquarters. “Those with a public voice have the power to use it to help others and we are deeply appreciative of their generosity."

Tune in to ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT today, January 15th and visit www.ETonline.com to see the messages of support.
