CULVER CITY, CA (March 6, 2009) – Next week, America’s Favorite Quiz Show® will broadcast aspecial episode of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” featuring Tom Bergeron (“Dancing with the Stars”), Elizabeth Perkins (“Weeds”) and Aisha Tyler (Bedtime Stories, “Friends”) competing for a $50,000 grand prize to be donated to his or her favorite charity. The two non-winning celebrity players will be guaranteed a minimum of $25,000 for their charities.
“I look forward to the energy and excitement surrounding the celebrity competition, becausethese stars are not afraid to go out on a limb, take a risk and have a good time,” said Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek. “Additionally, so many good causes will benefit from the celebrities’ involvement.”
This episode of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” marks the 75th celebrity competition for the quiz show, and was taped before a live audience from the floor of the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV.

Jeopardy!, a winner of 28 Emmy awards since its debut in 1984, was inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records for the most awards won by a TV Game Show. The series is the #1-rated quiz show in syndication and has held that title for over 1,000 weeks.
